Icon of St. Autonomus of
Italy, Bishop, Martyr
Feast day: Sept. 12
St. Autonomus was an Italian
Bishop who fled to Bithynia during the persecution of Diocletian. He
converted many to the Faith of Christ, and then suffered martyrdom for
his faith on Sept. 12, in about the year 300. Our Holy Father
Autonomus of Italy, pray to God for us!
