of Holy Isle in the Firth of Clyde, Bishop & Abbot

St.
Laserian was born in Ireland but raised as an ascetic on Holy Isle,
Scotland. He travelled to Old Rome as a pilgrim and was there ordained
Bishop. Returning to Ireland, he became abbot of a monastery near
Leighlin in County Carlow. Holy Father Laserian, pray to God for
us!
