Velimirovich, Bishop of Zhica in Serbia, Missionary to America

Born in Serbia, St. Nicholas he was a gifted
preacher and writer, a bishop in Serbia, a victim of religious
persecution in a Nazi concentration camp during Germany's invasion of
Yugoslavia, and the head of a Pennsylvania seminary in the United
States. He also did missionary work in Canada with the elder Theodore
of Pskov and West Milford. He is famed for his work The Prologue From
Ochrid, an amplification of the Saints' lives read in refectories with
addition of sermons, poetry, and reflections of great inspiration.
