Icon of St. Otto (Odo), Abbot
of Cluny (left, at top)
Feast: Nov. 18
St. Odo was the Abbot of the
great Orthodox Lavra of Cluny in France. He is known for having been
very merciful to the needy and in many pictures is shown stripping
himself to clothe the poor. He reposed in Christ in the year 943. Above
on the right is shown St. Leonard of Limoges, another famous and holy
Abbot. Holy Father Otto, pray to God for us!
