St. Paul evangelised Spain & England before planting the Church at Rome, where he was martyred & where his holy Relics have lain since.

Feast Days: Jan. 25 (conversion & baptism), June 29 (Sts. Peter & Paul ), June 30 (commemoration of St. Paul in the Western rite)

The above is a good example of early Western iconographic style.
