Icons of St. Scholastica, Abbess in Italy

Feast Day: February 10

The sister of St. Benedict the Great, St. Scholastica founded and was abbess of a convent at Plombariola near Monte Cassino. She reposed after a spiritual colloquy with her sainted brother, on Feb. 10, 543.
