Born in
631, Sigebert III was King of Austrasia, now eastern France. He lived
piously but reposed young, at the age of 25. He was revered as the
founder of numerous hospitals, churches and monasteries, among them
Stavelot and Malmédy in Belgium. Holy King Sigebert, pray to God for us!
