St. Syrus was the first Bishop of Pavia in Italy. He was ordained by the Apostles of Our Lord. In the second icon above, St. Syrus (Siro) is shown with the Mother of God and St. Epiphanius of Pavia. Holy Father Syrus of Pavia, pray to God for us!
