Icon of Our Holy Father Theuderius (Thierry) (back row, 3rd from the
right)
Feast: Oct. 29
St.
Theuderius was first a monk of Lérins and a disciple of St. Caesarius
of Arles. In Dauphiné he attracted a group of disciples and founded a
monastery for them near Vienne, of which he was Abbot. He lived his
last 12 years as a hermit, walled up in a small cell in the church of
St. Laurence at Vienne. A great wonderworker, his life was written by
the Blessed Ado of Vienne.
