Pictures of Frs. Aidan and Paul at our Chicago Cathedral

The pictures below are thumbnails; click on each one to see greater detail.

Above: Fr. Paul Andreasen, military chaplain assigned to Ft. Hood, Texas, the U.S.'s largest army base, receives from Bishop Peter of Cleveland, acting administrator for the Chicago diocese, two awards: the wearing of the nabedrennik (square pendant worn upon the right side under the phelonion) and the purple skoufia (hat) for service to the Church.  In the very back, looking on, is Fr. Hieromonk Aidan (Keller), the assistant to our rector Fr. Cassian Sibley.  Standing between Fr. Paul and Fr. Aidan is Fr. Vadim, who runs the Pokrov Church Supply store to assist clergy of the diocese.  The award was given to Fr. Paul on Mar. 22, 2011, in the Chicago cathedral of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God.

Above: In the foreground is Fr. Daniel Marshall of Indiana; behind him is Fr. Hieromonk Aidan (Keller) of our Austin parish. Taken at the Presanctified Hierarchical Divine Liturgy which occurred in Chicago at the cathedral on Mar. 22, 2011, the feast day of the Holy Forty Martyrs of Sebaste.
